Lunch at Las Palmas Pupuseria & Carniceria

My friends and family have always told me that I should have a food blog because of how much I enjoy food. Apparently, I love food so much that I dance when I eat, and when I dislike what I’m eating, I look completely miserable. I want to help you live vicariously through my food blog, and hopefully one day if we’re all in the same area, we can share a meal together. Here’s my first food blog post!

Restaurant I supported this week:

With COVID-19 hurting so many businesses, I always do my best to support restaurants as much as I possibly can. I’ve been craving Salvadorian tamales so I found this restaurant, Las Palmas Pupuseria & Carniceria located in Sacramento, CA.

What I ordered:

  • Jalapeno pupusas (not pictured)
  • Cheese pupusas (not pictured)
  • Sweet corn tamales
  • Salvadorian chicken tamales

The Verdict:

I believe that you should always try food out for yourself, and never purely go off someone’s take on food. We all have different tastes when it comes to food, so if you’re like me, who loves all types of food, then you’d enjoy the food here. The pupusas were pretty good, especially if you eat it with the slaw that they provide. The tamales were my favorite, but then again, I have a soft spot for tamales. I’m sure if I was able to eat in, the food would’ve been even more magical. That just means I get to come back again next time I’m in the area. 😁
