How I Balance Trading and Working Full Time

Is it Possible?

Many ask how I balance working full time and trading. It’s not easy, it is definitely possible, but I make sure to utilize every minute of every single day. I love to work so it never feels like work to me. I guess that’s the beauty of working for yourself.

What if Something Unexpected Happens?

My schedule is pretty crazy, especially when something happens with my mom or brother, and I’m expected to drop everything I’m doing to take care of them. It was impossible to do that working for someone else, and it isn’t fair to expect any employer to be okay with an employee needing to leave to care for their family members.

What About Working for an Employer?

There are days when I do wish I could just work for someone else, because of how easy everything was. The downside was, I never felt challenged, and I would lose motivation as the days go by. I will never think it’s okay to work at a place if you’re starting to catch yourself counting down the time that you can clock out and leave. The moment I noticed that happening, I knew I needed to make a change, otherwise, I will never grow as a person. They say, a mind is a terrible thing to waste, and I truly believe that.

So, to help those of you who have asked how I balance owning a business, trading, taking on projects, and being a caretaker; this is what my schedule looks like for the most part:

Question, you only sleep 2.5 hours a day on weeknights? How do you maintain energy?

I’ve been an insomniac since I was a child. I grew up in a violent household and had a rough life through my early 20s, so sleep was a luxury for me. I’d like to think it’s because I conditioned my body to function off of little sleep. I exercise 1.5-2 hours a day so that gives me a lot of energy as well. I’m constantly wanting to learn as much as I can so I suppose having something to look forward to everyday is what gives me all the energy lol.
